Coffee Beer

Coffee beer We all know that drinking coffee helps keep us awake as well as being more alert, but did you know coffee could make us drunk as well? It’s true! There is such a thing as coffee beer. Coffee beer is brewed primarily from Arabica coffee beans because of it’s chocolate and vanilla taste, has around 4% alcohol content and is primarily targeted at adults as a cappuccino drink. Other coffee varieties tend to have a nutty or bitter taste that makes them unsuitable for being brewed as beer. This is a drink that you won’t see at your local coffee shops anytime soon because of it’s alcohol content might raise certain regulatory issues to keep this from being served to minors.

Coffee beers can be found on certain specialty stores and in some bars here in the Philippines. Although coffee beers have relatively low alcohol content, the caffeine content in each glass is equivalent to a cup of coffee. So people who consumer a couple of glasses may find themselves having trouble sleeping as well as other symptoms of drinking too much coffee. This is a perfect drink for coffee lovers who enjoy an occational glass of beer or two.
