Overdosing On Coffee

Overdosing Coffee I know we all love our coffee, but as with anything else in life, too much coffee is bad to our health. There have been cases reported of people overdosing on coffee. It may sound funny but it’s no laughing matter. Symptoms of coffee OD includes shaking, hyperventilating, trouble breathing, palpitations and dizziness. There have been reported cases of people collapsing and being rushed to the hospital from drinking too much coffee especially espresso like a case in the UK where a girl who overdosed on espresso coffee began laughing and crying for no reason because the effects of the caffeine was too sever for her system to take.

Espresso coffee are more concentrated and contains three times more caffeine than their regular drip counterparts so we must take notice to haw many cups we are drinking especially when we are having fun chatting or discussing stuff with our friends or peers because we tend not to notice things when we are having fun. Teenagers must especially be more extra careful since their tolerance for caffeine in their system is not as strong as in adults. Moderation is the key for us to fully enjoy our favorite drink.
