Coffee Shops Used As Offices
Coffee shops, for enthusiast are in more ways their second home away from home. But some enterprising individuals are turning coffee ships into more than just a place for drinking, dining and chatting but also a place to conduct their business. Believe it or not, many enterprising individuals prefer coffee shops to conduct their business or small scale seminars just like you would do in your office.. With comfortable chairs, cozy atmospheres and free wifi Internet in most popular coffee shops like Starbucks and Figaro, whats not to like doing your business presentation there? I have personally seen people who are conduction small scale corporate presentation on their wifi enabled laptops and some choose to come in early, order a mocha frappuccino and sit there all day bringing their work from the office to the coffee shop especially of the work involves intensive use of the Internet in which the free wifi comes in very handy.
While some may frown or raise an eyebrow in this practice, I find nothing wrong about this and I also believe that the coffee shop owners are not loosing out on this one due to gaining customer loyalty, word of mouth advertising and new potential future customers being introduced to the coffee shops by individuals who use the place as their office. And since coffee shops often charge their products more expensively compared to lets say a McDonald’s or Mister Donut’s coffee, the operating cost for the business has already been factored in their pricing. When all is said and done, who wouldn’t want to do their work in a more stress free and friendly environment like our favorite coffee establishment.
