Arabica | Coffea Arabica
The arabica coffee has it’s origins in Ethiopia and Yemen and also goes by the name of coffee shrub of Arabia and mountain coffee because this variety grows in higher elevations ,about 1,500 meters above sea level. Mostly found in mountain ranges in the Philippines particularly in the Cordilleras where it grows near volcanoes and in the mountains of Mindanao. The most traded coffee variety , Arabica is more expensive than Robusta, Excelsa, or Liberica because it has a smoother flavor .
